For Music Project 2: Creative Performance at WSU

‘Pop Will Eat Itself’ is a musical performance project created by myself and Tiahna Davis. The iproject aims to inspire reflection and thought on all eras of popular culture, represented in a repertoire of three songs ('Going to California' - Led Zeppelin, 'Jesus Doesn't Want Me For a Sunbeam' - Nirvana, 'Pharmacist' - Alvvays) played over edited film footage ('Mr. Deeds Goes to Town' (1936), 'Lords of Dogtown' (2005), 'Pretty in Pink' (1986).
